Building tools that solve real problems for real users, one line of code at a time.
π οΈ It all started in 2014, when Yiannis - a developer living in Rhodes, Greece - built the "Cookies Policy Notification Bar", a simple yet powerful Joomla! plugin to help a business owner in France comply with cookie and privacy requirements.
That one solution helped the company take a step forward - and sparked an idea that would soon grow into something bigger.
And so, Web357 was born. π
π» Over the past 10 years, we've written thousands of lines of code, solved countless problems for Joomla and WordPress users around the world and formed long-term partnerships based on trust, support and quality. From solo developers and small businesses to digital agencies across Europe and the US, we've been there - building tools that simply work.
In 2025, we turned a page. The phrase "Hi, I'm Yiannis - can I help you?" evolved into "Hey, we're the Web357 Team - how can we help you?"
π€ This next chapter of Web357 isn't just about code. It's about connection - helping you find real answers to business and technical challenges through collaboration and solid tools.
π‘ Because behind every strong business story, there's a reliable partnership. Or as we say in Greece and Cyprus, some of the most meaningful solutions are born through Ξ£Ξ₯ΞΞΞ‘ΞΞΞ£ΞΞ (synergasΓa) - a Greek word combining "syn" (together) and "ergasΓa" (work).
More than just teamwork, it reflects trust, shared responsibility and genuine intention to build something meaningful - together. π
Solutions that matter and make a real difference
Quality, performance, and maintainability you can trust
Always here to help with genuine care and expertise
As told by Yiannis Christodoulou, the founder of Web357
Back then, I was just a developer living on the island of Rhodes, Greece. I had no company - just curiosity and a problem to solve. A business owner in France needed help with cookie compliance on their Joomla site. So I built a simple plugin. That plugin worked. And it planted a seed.
That seed became Web357. I moved to Cyprus and officially launched the company - still a one-man show, but with a clear purpose: Build tools that solve real problems for real users.
Things started to grow. I released more Joomla! extensions - each one focused on being useful, fast and clean. Soon, developers and small businesses across Europe started to notice.
Users started asking: "Do you have this for WordPress?" So I listened - and built it. Web357 officially entered the WordPress ecosystem, bringing the same open-source mindset and developer-first approach.
This was a big one. I wasn't alone anymore. The team started to grow - people who shared the same mindset: Fix real problems. Write good code. Offer real support. We started working with agencies, freelancers, businesses across Europe and the US.
For years, I'd answer messages with: "Hi, I'm Yiannis - can I help you?" Now, it was time to say: "Hey, we're the Web357 Team - how can we help you?" It wasn't just a change in words. It was a reflection of who we had become.
We launched our Maintenance Services β offering ongoing updates, performance tuning, monitoring, and expert support for Joomla and WordPress websites around the world. With it, we introduced a new visual identity: A fresh logo, a fully redesigned website, and a clearer, faster user experience.
